Ottawa is never pulling the trigger without one of those players coming back. Maybe I am missing a few similar ones.

like the ownership group can't let him do that. you are not trading a 70+, 22 year old center....

The only way you're getting some of these names is at the deadline and I'm not even sure then for the Oil and VGK.

Then don't get EK, bye. You wouldn't trade Myers or Frost for EK who probably makes u a serious threat for a cup. He literally carried Ottawa almost to the finals on 1 leg lol

I think Drai straight up for Karlsson is a spectacular trade. Edmonton needs a strong defenseman to rely on and you don't get any better then the best defenseman in the league. personally I think Edmonton wins a cup with eric karlsson and Connor Mcdavid on their team.

both of those guys took their respective teams deep in the playoffs almost single handedly could you imagine what they could do together

Well, the owner will have a real tough decision to make. Let EK leave for free and have no one show up to games because theyre mad or give EK a deal with bonuses. Or if you want neither sell the team.

Ottawa tried to be greedy the first go around this summer and other GMs all hung up the phone. They don't have much leverage as it's clear he doesn't want to go back to Ottawa. Would not surprise me to see a package coming back without one of these players.

Yeah but could u imagine Faulk getting a better return than EK in a trade? Ottawa has a top 3 D in the league, you cant just trade him for less than what other teams got for worse Ds

You trade him for whatever the market is willing to pay. Lot of it comes down to how good the GM is in negotiating.

One or both for the Blues? I'd trade Parayko plus Any other prospect, but Thomas is too steep of a price.

Honestly, if Dorion could get Parayko and Thomas, id take it and run for the hills. However, maybe Parayko + Kyrou/Bokk + 1st
