I WOULD MAKE THIS TRADE, BUT THERE IS NO WAY FOR THE WINGS TO GET BELOW THE CAP, EVEN IF ZETTERBERG GOES ON LTIR.

What is this fascination about trading Trouba, he is under Jets control for two years.? Jets are in a win mode, they have no reason to weaken their team by trading Trouba.

to sign the core players going forward they can't afford Connor,Lianne Wheeler and Trouba past this year

So trade Trouba next summer, not when they need him this year. Wheeler's a UFA, a team shouldn't expect to sign their UFAs especially when they have expensive good RFAs to take their place. Like the Jets team but they do have three contracts that weigh them down. Little, Kulikov and even Perrault. Jets should hope they give those three away for nothing if means no retention. if means 14 more in cap space.

To me your looking short term not long term also the Jets D is still decent and Nogier can play RD hoping he has recovered from missing a entire year IMO Trouba is the easy trade and the sooner the better

LOL? Sorry if you don't know the Jets situation or understand the cap. But I will give credit for understand one statement, that Trouba is the easiest trade. Are calling AA a second line centre? He really doesn't help the Jets this year/

Not sure you do with your statements though (u a friend of his lol ) personally i think the NYR trade is a better deal
