What possible reason would the islanders have for doing this?

To say the truth, why would Boston need another Right Winger tho? Just asking. Answer this Q and I might delete this rating

Eberle ain’t re-signing. They gotta sell him off.

Heinen’s bout to hit a sophomore slump. I guarantee it. And then who’s gonna be our 2RW?

Sounds like they'll try Pasta on the #2RW and try Bjork with Bergeron and Marchand again.

You know that sophomore slump typically applies to players in their second professional year right? Heinen just completed that year. Guarantee huh?

Having to move a player does not logically equate to moving him for well below value.

Boston isn't the only team in the league you know. You have to be able to beat better offers. This frankly does not.
Gabrielle is garbage,
Goloubef is garbage,
Koppanen i a 5th round hope and dream to make it to the NHL by scouting reports on him.
and then there is McQuaid.......which frankly you can keep.

If you want something decent you are going to have to give. That's why it's called "trade"

How do you know? Nothing can be predicted. Also, Heinen was our 3rd LW THE WHOLE YEAR. We had Donato, Backes, Bjork on our RW. We have enough RWs. Heinen is a 3rd liner if he really does hit that slump. We still have enough ppl. Also, We could use another player with a year left and on a contract that is much cheaper.

Exactly. Heinen had his breakout year the 2nd year and is turning like what we saw in Neely and so many other players that breaks out suddenly and continues to get better.

Donato is not a LW.

I never said he was. he was a 2nd line RW. I said Heinen was a 3rd line LW. Also, you might look at your words before and reword it.

alright, but most wings can play both left and right. You can't deny that.

They can, but that doesn’t mean they can play it well.

True. So we can change to roaster in the middle of the season. I don't see any wrong with that.
