You have some nice ideas. All of the players you're looking for would be good acquisitions. In particular, I hadn't thought about Pulock, who from a purely financial perspective would really fit in with Toronto's plans, but I don't know anything about his skill. As a multi-posting Toronto AGM, I would be happy to get either of the two elements of the Winnipeg trade -- what makes you think they need an LD? Especially one who might be a rental? Don't they currently have some cap concerns? Terry is a good "spot," too, from a team heavy in RW's.

j, morrisey is really only there decent left sided defense man they have and niku may not be ready yet for nhl ice time, plus myers is a 3rd line d-man on 5.5 mil and wants out and gives them chance to trade for picks which can help jets out with cap space, plus gardiner might want to stay as jets are real contenders for cup
