Is faulk that bad? I know hes faded from a few years ago, but rhd are ridiculously expensive, and if dahlin plays the left we are going to see an awful lot of bogosian until he gets hurt in the opener. So its a late first in a deep draft for a player in a position of need that doesnt really add much to the group (offensive without great numbers and not good in his own zone)- except it means less of bogosian, nelson, or a lhd playing his off-side. I wouldnt do it, but its not crazy. Right now he is a lesser version of risto and we are in much greater need of a pesce.

Id be happy to keep Faulk. Just messing around with trades.. But apparently Buffalo fans dont wanna give up 1 of 3 first round picks...

id rather keep the pick and either try and trade up with the 3 selections or just draft a RHD , faulk is decent but he only has 1 year left on his deal, not trading a 1st in such a highly touted draft for a rental. id rather have that ice time available for guhle or let pilut get some nhl
action. i believe dahlin will do just fine on right side
