Silfverberg is UFA after this season and I doubt he'd be looking to resign with the Senators. I would much rather get Sam Steel, Montour and the pick. That would be TWO late 1st round picks and a mid 2nd round pick in return for Karlsson, which is more than fair.

Other team's fans seem to think that we'd be lucky to get a package of like Honka + a B level prospect and a 1st. I would agree that Montour + Steel and a 1st is a good deal. We need a young top 4D to replace Karlsson, a solid forward prospect and a 1st. I would play the season with him if we don't get that value. Something like Theodore + Suzuki + 1st is also a fair deal imo

being a sens fan of course you would like your proposal, but no team giving all that for karlsson. you've been reading for to many posts on this site.

oh, i'm ok, and in this case. correct. sens fans especially don't the difference between playing value and trading value. a one year rental doesn't carry nearly as much value as playing value.
these foolish sign and trade happen very rarely, somehow sens think they are going to put off the trifecta and get three done, stone, duchene and karlsson all this season.

You seem really worked up about these fictional trades. If you already know everything why waste your time talking to us fools, just get back to building that statue of yourself.

just thought some folks might enjoy a reality so they could enjoy cap friendly better. obviously you don't want to live a cap friendly world, but "I want my dreadful sens to be able to fix this mess" with unrealistic trades.

I'm a Sens fan but many of these Karlsson trades are just embarrassing. Sorry to say than many Sens have lost all sense of reality of trade value.
