One too many players,

and Bjork?
I really don't get why everyone forgets he was their top forward prospect. He won the job as first line wing to start the year. He struggled a bit after his concussion - was sent down and promptly brought right back up. He is in their plans.

Just to remember that he was injured for 6 months because of his shoulder
To me you better to let him in the minors so he can play big minutes and play a little less physical game than in the nhl because of he is, he maybe get injury again

Yeah - And he's fine now. It was a freak injury. He is 22. With that logic, most of the Bruins should be in providence. I mean Pastrnak was hurt his rookie season, Bergeron has had multiple concussion. McAvoy had a busted knee, Carlo had a concussion and a ankle injury in back to back seasons.

I actually don't think it's outlandish to have Bjork starting in Providence to start the year. He may very well make the team out of camp again, but it wouldn't be bad if he was sent to Providence.

Send Bakos down and I'd say move Chara/Carlo to top pairing. They will be the shutdown pair against the other teams best offensive players. 4th line will be pretty fluid between the four. Bjork starting in Providence to get his confidence up and make sure that shoulder injury is fully healed. If I had to bet this would be the opening night roster. Great Job!

I just see no way he isn't on the Bruins roster. His shoulder is healed. It's his job to lose. We will know soon enough, but He is participating in the rookie camp and has often been referred to as their fastest forward. As I said he did struggle after his concussion and they sent him down to get his confidence back. If he wasn't in their plans, they would have left him down there. The team was doing well, so there was no need to bring him back up, and when they did bring him back up, they put him with Krejci because you couldn't break up that first line because of how they were playing. Despite his 'struggles' he still had 12 points in 30 games, including 9 in his 1st 15 playing on that top line.

There is also their marketing - The first beartracks thing they did was about playing at Notre dame for the winter classic.

Like I said, we'll see soon enough.

I think Bjork is in their plans too. It's a numbers game, they can only carry 23 players and they need a 3C. I don't see any of the fourth line guys being it, at least for any meaningful amount of time(one season). If that's the case, somebody that should be in the NHL will be in Providence. That's not ignoring a prospect, that's just depth.

Notre Dame winter classic isn't until January 1. That's lots of time for a slump(JFK, Heinen, Donato, anybody that can skip waivers plus Acciari) or an injury to happen. I like the story and Bjork, I want him at the winter classic. Just think it's a numbers game right now and he's the most likely one out.
