I love it. It bumps Connolly off the third line and replaces him with a higher upside player that drives play more. Also, he could help Burakovsky get his big breakout. A line of Shumakov-Eller-Burakovsky looks to be a very solid third line. But if for some reason he doesn’t pan out for us, it’s a very low risk signing. Great move to bolster the offense

The rich get richer. A low risk move by Capitals, which can really pay off.

His NHLe based of his 2017-18 KHL season is 51 points in 82 games in the NHL great value signing. If he outperforms Burakovsky, Burk will likely be gone next offseason

When was the last time the Stanley Cup champions got better in the offseason?

Great signing for the caps.

He's either Panairn or Shipachov. More likely Panairn but who know's.

I just used them as recent examples. He's probably a 3rd liner most likely but IDK much about him but he scored well in Russia.

Everyone else seems to like this signing so i'll say yes, good signing. I know nothing about him though.

If you read anything in the thread, you know enough about it to know it’s a good signing. Played really well in the KHL last year, and is signed on an ELC, so there’s basically no risk.
