That trade could definitely work but remember that Staal is 34 and is no longer having his best years

The only reason to make this deal is if you think the cup window closes after this year.

This hurts the team long term. I reiderate, the only reason to do this is if you think the bruins cup contending window closes next season.

Definitely better, but I don't think Minnesota accepts that trade. Just do bjork, backes, a first and a third for steal.
