I like it, Granlund should come with an extension though so he stays in Edmonton long-term (somewhere in the 4-6 year range with a cap around $6.5-$7M)

Why would you trade draisaitl. The problem in Edmonton is defense if you get an ekblad or a karlsson or an other true #1 dman for draisaitl than it is worth it. But if not it is just a wast of asset because even if the team makes the playoffs it doesnt have what it takes to win

Oilers traded away all hopes of a future, and from a fan base long suffering... these moves sting to the bone. Forward depth overall might have improved.. that D core reminds me of 2010.
