    Ottawa and Boston say no. Calgary doesn't do the NJ deal

    That’s a pretty fair deal for Karlsson in my opinion, Bennet is young with a good upside and Stone/Frolik are decent players, on top of that Ottawa is getting Calgary's 2020.

    The Boston trade may be a bit of a reach but I think if I made it either a 3rd and a 5th or 3rd and a 4th they’d probably accept.

    Miles Wood is a good prospect with great potential, would you say the removal of the 3rd round pick would make it an even trade?

    The Karlsson trade starts with one of Valimaki/Dube/Tkachuk/Linholm and Bennett is an add on to it.

    Valimaki is a top tier prospect with a ton more value than Miles wood who got 32 points last year and would be a 4th liner on Calgary. NJ gm is getting sucked off for free on the streets after this.
