    Not a bad trade, although I think Toronto is getting a lot. But I do think if Toronto WANTED to trade Nylander, it would be NEXT OFFSEASON, as the Matthews and Marner contracts kick in, and the cap crunch starts.

    This trade doesn’t really help Toronto, the value is fair but I think we will be keeping nylander.

    I think Toronto would be looking for either Juulsen or Mete in this deal, they have enough forwards.

    Like Jamie, I think the value is fair. This would be a good trade IF Toronto had some reason to want to move Nylander. I don't think we do, at least at this price. Now, Keller and Ekman-Larsson . . .

    No, I think what the poster was trying to do was make the left side as powerful as the right side. It's a nice effort. (Toronto has ten -- count 'em, 10) defensive prospects on the farm, so the Maple Leafs don't need any more defensive futures.)
