MTL accepts

i'm sure VGK would to as it gives them players to win cup(s) without costing them to much .
sure its a high price but VGK are built to win now and can flip players for picks as needed .

That would be a bad deal for Vegas.

Not really. If they have confidence in this current lineup, then going all-in is not a bad plan. They'll suffer for a few years on the development side afterward, but it might come after 2-3 Cups or near misses

How is getting Sherbak, a rookie with limited NHL experience and De La Rose who is looking like a career minor leaguer for a real solid top 4 dman who moves the puck extremely well considered going all in?

Oh, you were referring to the Montreal trade!! I figured you meant the EK and Stone trades. Agreed on the MTL trade. It was pretty "meh."

MTL trade the Habs say yes please, the Knights facepalm. The Karlsson trade if we're looking at Vegas winning the cup is a very low first round pick, plus two decent prospects and a reasonable second/third liner so maaaaybe. The Sens should say yes to the Stone trade even though the picks are really quantity not quality. Never know what you might get lower down but face value isn't so hot. Tuch however is.
