Karlsson and 2 depth players

Created by: Willian_Cardoso
Team: 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 7, 2018
Published: Sep. 10, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Yzerman should do whatever he can to get Karlsson. He would be a key piece to Tampa be the most feared team of the league. And I'm saying this as a Pens fan.

After Pacioretty's trade, I think a trade for Karlsson will probably be around something like that.

Winnik would bring depth to the team. He would be important to the team, cause Tam,pa's PK was hurt by Washington's PP in playoffs and Winnik is one of the best penalty killers of the league. Besides, he would bring physicality and defensive improvement at even strenght either. A combo need to any team, specially in playoffs.

PS: Tampa can trade Coburn or Girardi with some retaintion till the TD, if they need to improve another team position.

Tampa can't move 2019 1st round pick. It's a conditional pick on the McDonagh trade done in 2017-18 trade deadline.

Also, this is robbery by the Lightning. I just don't see how the Bolts can realistically get Karlsson without a young stud like Segachev or Point, and Yzerman has made it clear those two aren't available. Maybe for Foote... Maybe.

dont think ott takes callahan when theyre already trying to move a bad contract in ryan. Dont see ott making a trade without getting a good young prospect either this would be a steal for tampa

You guys are pretty funny. When I overypaid for Karlsson, many of you disagree with my offer. And now most of you think that my offer isn't enough. Interesting...

Interesting, cause most of the other fans here think that my offer isn't enough. You're being a Tampa's fan, it seems like you think the opposite. Anyway, when I overpay for Karlsson, many ones thought that I was crazy to do that. Now, when I offer less than in other oportunities, some of you think that's not enough and others think that it's another overpayment. So, pls, tell me what you experts think that would be a fair offer for EK.

Well by “this makes leafs fans look good” I meant this makes their insane Parayko offers look realistic
Maybe read what other people are saying instead of writing it off

Sorry, but what was the offer to get Parayko? I can't speak about something that I don't know.

I've never even seen one of your other Karlsson trades as far as I remember. Also I think your misinterpreting what Hedman is saying, he's saying compared to the Leafs fans trying to trade for Parayko that this looks even worse. He isn't saying this is a fair trade.

As for the trade this is why I think its bad: first, the Bolts can't even trade that pick. They owe it to NYR if they win the cup (look it up if you don't believe me, it was a part of the McDonagh trade last season). Second, Callahan is a cap dump essentially adding negative value on the Bolts side. This means Tampa would have to add more to their side if they want to get rid of Callahan. Third, Koekkek is at best a 2nd pairing defenseman IF he reaches his potential. Sens are looking for a quality prospect that could play on the top pairing (which is why the rumored asking price from Dallas is Heiskanen and from Tampa is Sergachev, both of these prospects project to be top pairing players). Ottawa is rightfully looking for quality players to replace their best player in franchise history, and you have not done that here. I offered advice in my last post on what Tampa would have to give and instead of asking more about it you insult me. That's not a good way to get help on this website. Everyone makes bad trades on here. I've done it countless times and I'll be the first to admit that. Instead of insulting everyone, why don't you ask kindly (not snarkily like you have) for advice on how to make it better? That's the only way to learn players value.

Johnsson and Gardiner was the most popular one.

Also saw Leivo, Carrick and a 1st

Omfg. The second one is even worse than the first.

If I were Blues GM I'd never answer any more calls from Dubas. Parayko is just 25 and a top 4 d-man with still 4 years left is his contract. That's a joke. But Dubas is a rookie GM (with great potential, ok), so I'm not that surprise. He's still learning how to make his job.

No worries at all, it happens! This site can be a *****. It's tough to evaluate a players value because everyone has opposing opinions and things like offensive production, age, potential, contract term and hit, as well as a much harder thing to evaluate in defensive production make it so difficult.

The biggets problem to me is the fact that there're some guys here who thinks that they're experts indeed. I'm thinking why those guys aren't NHL GMs? Maybe because they think it's too easy to be a GM in real life and they have a much better and profitable job as well. Who wants to get a plus 9M salary per season after all, like Dubas, for example, just to be a NHL GM??? It's much more fun and interesting to be a lawyer or a tax collector...

I just wanna add something here. Pls guys, let's just have some fun. That's the purpose to the armchairs. Or at least, it should be. For those who thinks they are too good to make one here, send their resumé to the NHL teams and good luck to get a job there.
