Sign Stone. 20-21 Roster

Created by: Sledgie
Team: 2020-21 New Jersey Devils
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 10, 2018
Published: Sep. 10, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
To be competitive, this team needs the two main Swedish prospects to keep developing as they are. Still weak at center (Unless Zacha or McLeod surprises) and no true elite defender. Maybe they luck out in the draft.

Mainly did this to see how the cap would look after Hall and Hischier extensions along with the most likely "big fish" of 2018-19 for NJ to sign.

Add 1 Year to all the contracts signed for 2019-2020.

I think you're overpaying Nico, Vatanen, and Butcher. I did one a couple weeks ago and I gave Hall 10, Nico 6.5, Sami 6, Butcher 4. Bratt and Zacha might get less than you have as well.

We need RW Stone more than LW Panarin.

I'd argue Seguin more then Panarin, but either way, I dont think Devils are ganna be able to get in on either, but I can see them getting in on Stone. He isnt THE diamond, but hes one of them.

Maybe? but I see prices going up around the league. I think Butcher is ganna make more then Hanafin (4.95 AAV). Bratt could really go either way, depends which Bratt shows up next two years. Hischiers agent is ganna be looking at Draisaitls deal. Im using Bozak as basis for Zacha. All these are projections for two years out so anything could happen.

Stone will not make it to UFA, he will sign with either OTT or the team he is traded too like Pacciorety did.
