vegas was overpaid for Tatar's service last year. teams aren't going to be suckers again. are we going to have three years of Tatar trades.

He is still a 50 point guy... maybe he isn't anymore but teams are still aware that he can produce at a top 6 level

still a 50 point guy, you must be reading the the MB old scouting reports. he hit 50 point once in 2014-15. Then two years in 40s and last year 34 points in 82 games. he might be top six guy on a forward depleted team like montreal but on cup contending team, they wouldn't be cup contenders if they depend on Tatar. best of luck to Tatar and the Habs, but I'm looking at facts not hope.

Yes sorry my bad... A constant 20 goal 45 point guy who had a down season last year (still managed 20 goals). if you are telling me teams don't want that.. then you are nuts.

Montreal won't be looking for another small skilled forward at this trade deadline, Byron, Pleky and that 2nd rounder are more valuable separately. Byron and Plekanec can be moved for 2nd round picks individually, Montreal would probably like to have those as assets to control.
