What might happen with Yzerman (just my opinion)

Description
First of all its a shame he ended as GM of Tampa, he has done miracles with that team and I think BriseBois would continue to be succesful, so Tampa fans have no worries. BriseBois was part of the process from the beginning. Second of all I really hope he joins Detroit because of his expertise and the fact that he was longtime captain in city of Detroit so this would be nice and as a Leafs fan, those rivalries between Detroit and Toronto would be again very competitive.

So to my prediction.. I think that the first thing that would happen would be in April when after dissapointing season Kenny Holland would be relieved of his duties and would be named new Seattle GM few days after that, it fits with plan of Seattle expansion group who would want to look after GM in spring and Holland is the favourite for this job.. after Tampa is out of playoffs (might be 2nd round, but they might be also champions, we shall see, but Yzerman is fulfilling his contract in Tampa as he said) Steve Yzerman would be appointed GM of Detroit Red Wings.

Thats just my opinion, I might be completely wrong, but thats how I see it panning out right now. I might be wrong and Yzerman is new GM of Seattle lol. This is just my opinion. Post in the comments if you agree or disagree and whats your opinion.

Hi Sammy, you might be right in your prediction. I see 2 possible reasons for Steve's decision. a) He really needed to slow down his pace of work and spend more time with family OR b) He was in negotiation with Red Wings owners and offered the seat of GM.

Steve Gregory Yzerman's dream has always been one day to be the GM of the Detroit Red Wings, And maybe now it's coming to fruition. I know when the Wings closed out their game against the Devils at Joe Louis Arena. Yzerman spoke and really was giving the Red Wing organization praise and now that Detroit had it's best draft in ages. It wouldn't surprise me if he's not he's not our new GM next summer.

Like i stated it was always his dream to be our GM, But Holland wouldn't move up into the front office at that time. So Yzerman did the best thing taking the GM job with Tampa whom is my 2nd favorite after Detroit living in Florida now. He wants to be closer to his Wife Lisa and their 3 Daughters and they live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan you can't blame him they stayed there in Michigan while he was commuting between Detroit and Tampa.
