Didn't know that about Toronto. To be honest, I would have picked Tavares, but I knew he was already assigned as an alternate.

For Ottawa, any contenders are going to be gone by next year anyways (Duchene, Stone).

MTL will probably wait until Weber comes back healthy and see how he impacts the locker room then. I know a lot of people like Gally as captain (and he would still be a great choice!) but I’d say Weber gets it.

I’m conflicted for the Rangers captaincy this year. I really want to see a captain named but the most likely candidate (Zucc) is probably gone. Guess we should probably let this young team sort it out over the season but my pick right now would be Kreider.
