That’s about right. Let’s hope Zadina fills their nets and Hronek makes a successful transition to the NHL.

Probably about right. The only bone I would pick with that lineup is playing vanek and moose on the same line as they both are very similar in the sense that they play the net front tip in game. Would consider mixing it up so you have a net front and a sniper on the top 3 lines.

Normally i would agree, As it sounds now AA will center the 3rd line and it sounds like RAS for now is the 3rd line LW and Vanek 3rd line RW but we all know how Blash like to change up his lines.

So does Z’s full cap hit come off the books now that he’s retired?

He's going on Long Term Injured Reserve (LTIR), meaning that it is basically off the books. Wings still pay him, but they can spend the amount of his cap hit over the Salary Cap.

From what i understand, LTIR is based on the percentage that a team is over during the summer. Since the salary cap is $79.5 million 10% is $7.95 million so that's how much a team can be over. The Wings will get Franzens full $3.987 off the books and roughly about $4 million of Z's $6.083 million off as well.
