You sure you don't want a pony with that?

The Caps shouldn't bet the farm on a 34 year old goal scorer who got 22 last year with only 15 at even strength. That's now his apparent ceiling. Burakovsky has hit 17 even strength goals and should keep improving, because he's 23. Connolly, who just turned 26, got as many playoff goals this year as James Neal or William Karlsson. So it's really a roll of the dice who's the best player in this trade, you want two for one, and a pick. Caps understand why you feel that way about a guy who has been so good for so many years, but they'll call you.
