Why I Should Beat The Islanders In Round 1:
First of all, my team lines up great against the Islanders. My first line, nicknamed the perfection line, is the best 2-way line in the league. In total, the line has over 200 points this year while also having the best defensive forward in the NHL (Bergy) and the leading short-handed goals leader in Bruins history (Marchy). This line can line up against either of the Islanders top 2 lines and both shut them down and score goals. For evidence, just look at how this line held Auton Mathews to 2 points in last years first round matchup with Toronto. The Bruins 2nd line also boasts incredible offensive talent (again with over 200 combined points) while also having Toews, arguably the 2nd best 2 way center in the league behind Bergeron. My 2nd line is more than capable than shutting down the Islanders 2nd line (Toews is fully able to trail and stop Barzal) while boasting more impressive offensive talent. With last change and home-ice advantage, we can utilize these matchups to shut down both the Tavares and Barzal lines. Our bottom 6 also boasts an impressive amount of scoring and speed. While NYI may have more physical players (like Matt Martin), we believe our skill players like Pacioretty, DeBrusk, and Kuhlman can outskate and outscore the Islanders bottom 6 forwards. We also aren't exactly a weak team. Brian Boyle, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Ben Chiarot are strong physical players. On defense, we have a great balance of defensive d men line Chiarot and Risto, who can shut down the top forwards on the opposition, and more offensive guys like Grz and McAvoy, who can quarterback our top-ranked powerplay. We also have balanced d men line OEL, who are the backbone of our d core. With this balance, we can completely shut down and frustrate NYI's solid top 2 scoring lines. In goal, we have Dubnyk. While the Islanders have very highly ranked goaltending, we believe Dubnyk is an exceptional goalie who can lead our team. Not to mention that the Islanders have a tandem in net, but only 1 tendy can play at any given time. We hope to get your votes and Go Bruins!

Why I Should Beat The Capitals In Round 2:
While the Caps rank higher than the Bruins in regular season offensive production, we made deadline deals that make us a much more formidable offensive team in the playoffs. Most notably, we have Max Pacioretty (who is tied for first in 2019 IRL NHL playoff points) playing on our 4th line. While Washington has a stellar first line, the perfection line of Marchy-Bergy-Pasta can easily shut them down. The offensive punch of our second line (led by 99 point man Johnny "Hockey" Gaudreau) can outscore and outperform the Caps 2nd line. While the caps have a solid bottom 6, the mix of vets (like Spezza, Williams, and Pacioretty) with young, speedy wingers (DeBrusk and Kuhlman) will be too much for the Caps to contain. We also boast the best powerplay in the league. On defense, we have a great group of young studs (like McAvoy, Risto, and Grzelcyk) paired with more experienced guys like OEL. While the caps have some big, strong players (most notably Ovi), we still have big guys like Boyle, Risto, and Chiarot to nullify any hitting advantage the caps may want to expose. The caps do have talented forwards, but with arguably the 2 best defensive centers in the league (Bergy and Toews) along with our excellent defense led by OEL, McAvoy, and Risto, we will be able to shut them down. Speaking of preventing goals, we also have an all-star in net. While Dubnyk is not the best goalie left in the playoffs (I'll admit that), he is still a solid tendy who is fully capable of backstopping a Stanley Cup contender. Finally, we are also coming off a dominant series sweep over the Isles so we're well rested and home-ice advantage can be important. The experience and leadership of our vets are unrivaled. We have 5 current or former IRL NHL captains who can lead us to victory. If you would like any clarification, comment down bellow or message me on twitter. Vote for us and Go Bruins!

Why I Should Win The Cup:
The Bruins are easily a top team in the GM Game Playoffs. First off, our top 6 forwards are the best in the league. We have the 2 best 2-way centers in the league, which also makes our penalty kill outstanding. Not to mention Marchand not only has 100 points this season, but is also the all-time short-handed goals leader in Bruins history. Gaudreau has nearly 100 points and Pasta is at almost 80. DeBrusk and Mantha are 2 young wingers with 40+ points each. Finally, in our bottom 6, we have Williams and Pacioretty, who both are really top 6 players. In terms of leadership, we have 5 current or former NHL captains who can mentor the younger studs like Pasta, Gaudreau, Mantha, DeBrusk, and McAvoy. Defense is key to any successful team, and our D core is full of excellent players. McAvoy is an absolute beast, and he's paired with another stud, OEL. Ristolainen is most definitely a top 4 quality player and Chiariot is a key player on an excellent IRL Jets team. In goal, we have Dubnyk, who is an all-star goalie and he's backed up by Kinkaid, another solid tendy. Our possession stats are also among the top in the league. The Bruins have depth, high-end talent, and a perfect mix of young stars and veteran leaders to succeed in the playoffs. Vote for us to win the cup in the GM Game polls!
