These would be my ideal lines

Description
I hope something like this happens as the season gets rolling. If Fabbri can still play, he would be a nice add on the ROR line. 2nd line: can't break up Schwartz-Schenn, but that RW could be a rotating cast. Give the 3rd line OZ time and try to emulate Bozak's success with JVR/Marner (lite version ;)). The 4th line will be interesting if Thomas starts there... he's pretty polished for a rookie but this line would have to take on a bulk of the DZ matchups and it would probably waste Thomas to an extent. Still, I think he should stay at center and I doubt the coaches will move Schenn to the wing, although a line of Schwartz-Thomas-Schenn would probably be the most ideal.

I hope Kyrou makes the team but his flexibility may end up costing him a spot on opening night. Barbashev/Soshnikov probably wouldn't clear waivers and Thomas can't go to AHL (and doesn't need OHL) so those guys have it easier to make the team. Plus, Barby and Sosh are fine in the press box, but Kyrou needs to play.

Gonna be a very different Blues team from the past few years, in both personnel and style.

Not the same thing. This website gives all the details on waiver rules. The CF tool shows him as waiver-eligible. https://www.capfriendly.com/waivers-calculator/ivan-barbashev

For sure. At least we can count of Soshnikov being hurt all the time haha. The roster construction is going to be tricky this year with the younger guys passing up the young pros.

Switch maroon and Steen
Switch Thomas and bozak
Would be interesting.
Kyrou and Thomas are future why play them low end minutes. Move them up to top 6.

Would rather play Bouw than Gunn and Bortz than Schmaltz.
