Just saw the clip on sportsnet. Aaron shoved Max and Max was wanting to fight. Aaron would not give in so Max started punching anyway. Thats how I see is. I say he gets at least a game max of 3

The punishment should be based on the action, not the outcome. There should be serious consequences regardless of how Ekblad's tests go. This is the type of stuff that needs to be stamped out of the sport.

First the shoving/some what punching to the face, but then taking his glove off and sucker punching when Ekblad had no removed his gloves...4 games from the NHL.....more from me.

id say the rest of pre season is fair. Now he cant build any chemistry and could hurt him when bergivan is putting together the line up. I do think he should have also gotten a fine though.

I don't agree with the suspension but I predicted it right though.

I greater punishment would have been have him PLAY the rest of the exhibition games. Has the NHL set a precedent. Want revenge? Do it pre season, and then just relax for a week or so.
