The good news for the Habs financially is that his actual salary drops, the bad news is the cap hit is going to be the same, and on a team like LA it will be crippling down the road.

Might one one very, very very few Weber trades where he was traded to the Leafs. So it's five stars for me. But look at that cap, 1.3m left with three players to sign. Kings just can't afford any more cap by taking Weber.

Well LA is trying to be the only team with their entire cap taken up by over the hill 30+ year olds, so this sounds about right.

I agree. With Kopitar, Doughty, Carter, Kovalchuk, Brown, etc. getting older,it's the time for them to be contender, because after, it will be too late ...

He's going to be back for January, but I don't think LAK need Weber to make playoff haha
