I just asked about him today.... I haven't watched a preseason game yet but I saw his name on the scoresheet hows he looking?

From a standpoint his goal against the Bruins was an impressive tip from the slot and he had about 8 shots on goal so he got himself into good scoring positions
Its going to be very tough to make the team tho with Walker, Dowd, Shumakov, and Gersich all fighting for extra spots alongside Barber
If he can show some consistency then I believe he could start the year with the team

Had a good showing against the Bruins, with a great tip goal in the slot showing off his hands and 9 shots on goal and a consistent good nose for decent scoring position on the ice
If he has good consistency throughout the rest of the preseason I could see him making the team

He's always had middle 6 NHL potential but Caps have been so damn happy he couldn't prove himself. Now other players have caught up. Would love for him to make the squad.
