SDA is good good Dubas has to watch him at the SBA once and was like, this guy is either a gross 4th line center, or he is going to set Naz up for 40 in 2 years.

Marner Nylander Bracco SDA

This is Dubas talent and it will continue to be compiled for the next 10 years. Watch out NHL, the Leafs dont just have good players, they have about 30 of them. They will keep drafting and keep developing.

This is a dynasty that is about to start.

The Leafs technically traded Dominik Bokk for Rasmus "The Best Rasmus" Sandin and Semyon Der-Arg-something-something. We'll see how this works out for TOR and STL down the road.

And when you think that in 3 years our D will be
Reilly-Dermott
Sandin-Liljegren
Rosen/Borgman-Zaitsev/Durzi

This team is going to dominate for 10 years. So many good players at every position

I still believe TOR will lose one of their big 3 to free agency. If Nylander really expects over $7M AAV I don't see how they'll be able to keep both Matthews and Marner. The numbers just don't work. Kapanen will also most likely be a salary cap casualty when he becomes RFA next summer. The only way around this is if Nylander would be willing to take a bridge deal until Marleau's current contract expires.

Just an idea. The money does work which is why the ELCs of the young D are important.

I encourage any one just to make 2019/20 roster and so it can be explained how the Leafs are going to "lose" one of their RFA players. I don't think any team NHL team ever has not been able to sign their ELC players getting their first RFA contracts. Somehow, it's only the Leafs that are in this situation.
I think you mentioned the solution when it you mentioned "bridge" deal. Is Nylander really going to "sit' for the five years years that the Leafs own his NHL rights, if he doesn't get a long term deal?

SDA Saturday! Woo-Hoo!

He has impressed at camp and is rewarded with an NHL contract. No matter how strong an impression he makes, he will absolutely be back in the OHL for the now season when NHL Camp ends. He’ll be one of the last 4/5 cuts just to give him some extra time to see what he’s good and he may be in line for a spot as early as 2019 if he makes some big steps in Junior this year and is able to bulk up somewhat.

The Laff delusion in this thread is palpable. Lets just hold of the parade celebrations and wait to see what the season holds, shall we?

As if Oilers fans don't think Tyler Benson, Stuart Skinner, and Dmitri Samorukov are the best thing since sliced bread and clearly part of the future core of the Oilers.
