Why though? You're just trading for a right handed version of the same player when your top four on the right side is already set. Makes no sense

no lol, Krug is better but yeah same style of play and we already have McAvoy and Carlo on the other side...you don't trade just to trade, there's gotta be a purpose

No, he’s not. They are pretty much the same. Undersized, below average defensively. Same offense. just LH v. RH.

As others have said, no point to it. The Avs already have a left handed attacking D in Girard as well, who they are trying to bring through.
