Is he still a restricted free agent? (rhetorical)

I guess my smart ass comment opens myself up to others....

That said, your attempt doesn't make sense. Of course Toronto could match, but that wouldn't make much of an ACGM would it? So, I pretend they don't. Otherwise, how do I need to prove that I know what an RFA is? Chicago has all of the required picks to make such a signing (after the demonstrated trades).

Do you see how someone could be confused by your efforts of one-upsmanship?

The issue is if you want nylander to sign your OS you need to offer him more money than you can afford... think you would be better off trying to make a trade for him... either scenario is unrealistic of course.

Trouble for the Hawks in the near future might be, there isn't cap space for signing their own upcoming RFAs when there is no cap space. Hawks would be carrying some Performance Bonuses into next year and Schmaltz and others have to be resigned.

you can't have it both ways buddy. you can't try to make a "realistic" post and then bash people who say this is unrealistic

Lets not forget how the Hawks finished in the lottery last season. Nylander may make them better, but the idea of being like Ottawa and giving up an unprotected potential lottery pick is not good

You're the only person I've responded to, so who are these people I'm bashing? I don't recall you saying my fantasy OS and trade scenario was unrealistic either. I recall you calling into question my knowledge of NHL free agents (poorly).... I remember giving you a hard time about that...

I'm having a hard time digesting your comments. They make so little sense.

    Otherwise, best wishes.
