Depends on the price and whether he gets claimed. I doubt it, but if he does end up playing elsewhere I have less need to move him.

I have negative interest in Namestnikov, but I have less interest in keeping Alzner, so depends what you have in mind.
I will say I'd be more inclined towards a bottom 6-er.

I'd say there's a 99% chance he makes it through. As he's a pure cap dump (and his contract is very long), would you pay a 2nd to get rid of him?

Can't justify a 2nd if I can do a 3rd and get a better player back. If you're not attached to Granlund, how about Alzner + 3rd (or a 2nd next year) for him?

I actually really like Granlund. I could drop to a 3rd, but if you'd rather a forward than Gravel, I don't think I can top Gronk's offer unless you'd like Helm or Calvert.

Written out, Alzner + 3rd for Calvert sounds a lot worse than I thought it sounded. I'd take a 3rd for just Calvert, but that's not what we're trying to do here. I think I would need a 2nd to take Alzner.

He's under "very hard to move". He's been performing well for me, and he's a pending RFA, so I really would rather not give him up.

And are you sure about that? Now that he's hit the 9 game mark, Gravel will need waivers again to head down. He has officially taken Jason Garrison's spot.

Pretty sure. They just traded for Wideman to add a righty, so a lefty will be benched most of the time, and it isn't going to be Klefbom, Nurse, or Russell.
That leaves Gravel or Benning. Benning has already played twice as many games and is a RHD, so he'll probably draw in more frequently.
Not that anything is certain in Edmonton right now.
