Gallagher would be a good pickup, and Montreal is in a spot where they would listen but you are sending them nothing of note.

I thought Kassian was a player that brought more value than he was paid.

That barrie trade is god awful, nothing of value is giving up to the Avs...2 guys who should be in the AHL and a 1st round pick for one of the top offensive Dmen in the league

something of actual value that the Avs would want, You would have to send Bouchard+ or Puljujärvi+ to get the Avs attention. He is a top end player and a big part of the Avs D Core. A few scraps and a draft pick, thats just laughable
