Pretty good deal for Toronto. Kase replaces Nylander in the lineup, but not to the same level. Manson would be a good partner for Reilly. I think the left side of the defense is pretty crowded by adding Larsson though. I’m not saying it’s bad to have a good crop of defensemen, but it’s important to maximize the return when trading a guy like Nylander, and making sure each piece is used efficiently and effectively.

Trade value wise,,,,,I would even think Manson and Kase for Nylander, Gardiner and Carrick might be fair. The issue still is Nylander's contract. Ducks probably don't have the stomach to overpay Nylander either, just like it appears Leafs aren't. Ducks have big cap issues next year check it out especially if Perry and Kesler return.
