Really, really bad idea.

I wouldn't move Zboril for a crappy third line center.

Wings pass. Nice idea. You would not get a 2nd out of them though.

Everyone knows (or should to) that Athanasiou isn't a true center. He's much more like a LW. That's a bad trade from Boston's perspective.

Sure would

Bad trade for Boston, but Wings do decline

they don't like AA. That contract stuff pissed them off and he isn't exactly a stud. He's not a 20 goal scorer. He's not a 40 point guy, he's an okay third liner that plays a pretty strong game. Cehlarik could be that this year for all we know, and while half the Bruins fans may think Zboril is a bust because he isn't in the NHL yet, he's a high end prospect. This is an absurd overpay for Boston.

Wings like AA & the fact that you think you could get him and a 2nd round pick for someone whom I've never heard of & a former 1st round pick who has vastly underwhelmed and can't be considered a high end prospect anymore? Go redo the draft and Zboril isn't a first round pick anymore.

Not with Detroits 2nd added in it isn’t.

I don’t like the deal from Boston end. But Wings still decline. More because of the 2nd.

Zboril has been bad at Prov until the last 20 games last year which is why most are down on him. He’s gone downhill since being drafted. Been outplayed by Emil Johansson at Prov. B’s have plenty of LH d prospects so he while he is the top prospect among them he may not end up being the best of them unless he steps up his game. I’d consider him expendable for the right deal. This is not it.

I think Cehlarik ends up the best of the players involved here. Wish we had room for him, nice problem to have though.

a first year pro struggles for a bit and then tears it up in the second half? huh....I don't think that's a bad thing.

I'm sorry you haven't heard of Cehlarik, but that sounds like a you problem more than a bruins problem.

Cehlarik - 3rd round pick a few years ago. 22. LW. 31 goals in 84 AHL games. NHL ready. B’s don’t have room for him in top 9.
