i don't hate it.. i don't love it.. kinda that middle ground. i think rangers would prefer younger (or trouba) but not bad. I think rangers would be more interested in a pick and prospect (fox)

I could see a three way deal here as the Rangers have an abundance of defensive prospects, as long as it means they get a shiny young forward in return that is guaranteed to be between 1st and 2nd Liner status in the near future. Sending Hayes to Carolina, Faulk elsewhere, and a young & amazing forward talent to New York. A deal of this caliber could possibly work out with the Leafs who have an abundance of young forwards and a lack of defense so I could see that more happening. So Hayes to Carolina, Faulk to Toronto, & a young forward to New York depending upon who could change the deal a bit from it being a 1 for 1 for 1, but you get where I am coming from, hopefully.
