How many 1st round picks did you miss in that canes trade? He's imo the best D man in the league U25, he's better statistically in his own end then anyone else in the league, his transition is elite and his point production is solid, your missing a 2 1st rounders, Boqvist and some more prospects and picks,

While I don't disagree that Slavin is a great young D-man and will be very good for many years to come, lets pump the breaks on his value there. He is absolutely not worth Saad, Forsling, Boqvist, two 1st rounders and "some prospects"
I would argue that almost no one in the league is worth that except McDavid and 2-3 others.
Also to your "best D-man in the league U25", I think most meople would agree that if they could choose they'd much rather have Provorov, Werenski, and McAvoy over Slavin.

This trade is trash and doesn't get you Slavin but lets not be ridiculous here people.

Did MacAvoy, Provorov, Jones, Werenski, Lindholm, Reilly, Ghostibehere, etc all retire to the KHL?

Stats wise, McAvoy Werenski and Pro don't come close to Slavin. Transitionaly Slavin is better then all 3 combined, Defensively, same story, offensively, only Pro is better. He is the best of the 4, don't be ridiculous that they are better. If you don't believe me Hockey Referencebacks everything I just said, he is the best of those 4 you just mentioned

Nope, Slavin's just better my dude, look at hockey reference, only Pro is better offensively and only the elite D men are better transitionally (EK, DD, PK. VH) In his own end, Slavin is the best in the league over the past 4 years so please shush with your uneducated unjustified comments

Wow. Just wow.
Hockey reference actually doesn't back up what you said at all?
Slavin -------- GP 82, Points 30, ATOI: 22:35, CF% Rel: -0.1, FF% Rel: 1.0
Provorov --- GP 82, Points 41, ATOI: 24:09, CF% Rel: -0.1, FF% Rel: 0.3
Werenski --- GP 77, Points 37, ATOI: 22:35, CF% Rel: 4.4, FF% Rel: 4.2
McAvoy ----- GP 63, Points 32, ATOI: 22:09, CF% Rel: 2.0, FF% Rel: 2.2
Reilly --------- GP 76, Points 52, ATOI: 21:36, CF% Rel: 2.6, FF% Rel: 2.9

Every player mentioned is better offensively and most are better when it comes to basic advanced statistics.

Look at the PDO average and average it out with Corsi and Fenwick, then you will see I'm right

Ah advanced stats the methodology that says Micheal Kempny is a better Dman than Roman Josi. If you have to run away from real stats and rely on stats that are heavily skewed then you have a crap argument.

WHAT? You can’t be serious!
PDO is literally a stat that shows a players luck. It has no relevance to Corsi or Fenwick?

It shows the luck of a player per shot for, movement of a goalie etc, it proves which player truly has th most skill so YES I AM SERIOUS!
