Description

Nylander for Klefbom and Yamamoto. The Oulers get a winger for Connor, the leads get another young shifty winger and a defenseman to help their top 4.

I believe this works, is this fair value. Edmonton gets their biggest need and the Leafs get a quality D man and a future Nylander replacement.

when looking at trading partners you gotta think about team need and the Oilers can't afford to do that and be competitive

I tend to agree that if they are going for POs they will need Klefbom as a dman. They prolly don't wanna give up Yamamoto as well. However, Nylander is exactly the type of guy they need upfront, so maybe they find a way to make it work?

A dreadful contract....8.5m for the Oilers to absorb. Leafs don't need Klefbom at LHD. or even Yamamoto.

Oilers can not subtract a defenseman right now and you are asking probably their best young defenseman. Plus throw in a good prospect in Yammato. Not very realistic.

To clarify, I meant that the oilers will need their top dman, not the leafs will need another LD.
