Description

Jaskin and Thorburn are on waivers. Thorburn is no surprise but Jaskin is an interesting move. There are still additional moves needed to fit under the cap and round out the group of 23. I assume the trade for J.J. means Gunnar is out long term. An easy way to work the cap would be to simply put him on LTIR. Sosh/Sund/Fabb/Gunnar may all start the season on IR. So pumped for the season to start and so excited that we seem to be giving these young guys (Thomas, Kyrou, Blais, Barby) a shot! Also, I thought Schmaltz and Walman looked good the last couple games (even better than Dunn!)

This is exactly what I think will be the case, except I think Walman will end up going to San Antonio and we'll keep J.J up, if nothing else because he would have to clear waivers and if he gets claimed we traded that sixth round pick for nothing. But either way, whichever stays will likely be the 7th D. That 4th line is going to be exciting.
