Team: 2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 3, 2018
Published: Oct. 3, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Pearson has been average for LA ever since the "70s line" hype. Here they move him for a good RD that can compliment Martinez nicely. Only 100K more in cap hit.

Manning can go to any team but I think he will be valuable to young teams trying to make a statement. He's a decent shut down 6D guy. Low risk rental.
I think Anisimov is a good 2/3C option for the young retooling Islanders, not a lot of depth behind Barzal, and he can play on the PP and kill penalties (Even though they have a million PK guys).

Hawks defense is very young in this scenario, but Boqvist will surely be ready. Joki will take another step forward along with Forsling. The youth infusion is upon the blackhawks.

One critique, buddy. Schmaltz should be getting 6 or 7 years around 6 mil, similar to Dylan Larkin. Bowman and Q have repeatedly expressed their want to sign him long term. I really like the young defensive core. I think if it comes down to Gus and Beaudin, it would be Beaudin. Ian Mitchell should be able to make the team next year. Delia couldprobably be the starter too, Crow doesn't have much left in him, he is 34. It'd be nice to see Nalimov and Delia as the 1-2 punch goalie wise. I'd also like to make the argument for Jake Wise. They kid is a beast! I have no doubt he'll crack the team next year. I love where Chicago is going. They have so many incredible prospects, It's gonna come down to Saad, Pearson in this case, and honestly, Toews. What's gonna happen with Saad and Toews, I dont know. Schmalz is ready to go 1st line if necessary, their team is gonna be stacked ina few years.

I like your optimism and hope everything you say comes true! I want to see Schmaltz get to 60+ points before I give him a 6-7 year deal. I like the bridge deal if he isn't as successful this year. He's a very under-rated defender and I absolutely do believe he'll be a #2C sooner rather than later, but the contracts these days for players that haven't done anything yet are getting out of hand. 110% agree with the prospects in their system.

I am as big a fan of Jake Wise as there is. He is not making the team next year. He probably will not even turn pro at all next year. Very few players turn pro after one year of college. It just doesn't happen, unless it is someone like Toews. Wise is not Toews.

Larkin really robbed Detroit on that deal because he goes to UFA (I'm 90% sure) at 27. Meaning he will get a 10 million per deal most likely. Jake Wise is good, but I think Soderlund is more proven at the pro level and will have a much better chance than him. I can see what you're saying on Mitchell but where does he fit on the right side? I can also see Beaudin in over Gus.
