It seems that the signing of Drew Stafford was precipitated by the injury of Jesper Bratt. Bratt is expected to miss 2-3 weeks w/ a broken jaw. Stafford will likely serve as the Devil's 13th Forward until Bratt returns. At that point, the Devils will need to drop either Stafford or one of their eight Defensemen (Probably Gryba or Santini).
