If these trade are to go through, they will need to include contract extension as a part of the deals.

It's likely they'll negotiate the extensions while trade talks are going on such as Ottawa giving permission to talk extension.

If I'm the Sens, I accept the first trade, immediately.

I think the Wild are happy to upgrade for the whole season. Ottawa is happy to have a whole season to develop young talent and showcase other guys for trades.

Maybe they flip Nino. Who knows.

Duchene is worth more than a 1st round pick from a playoff team. Duchene plus a third for a first and a sixth? Twenty confident, non-lottery teams will take that, and find a way to work with the cap hit.

Duchene is a 1C/2C. Stone is a winger. How exactly do you come up with the values for each above? Seems way low for Duchene.

Its well known that Duchene hates being on a losing team. It's like with the Evander Kane deal, try to find the best out of a lack of leverage.
