not worth it
Alzners buyout is 1.06m 5/7 years for the buyout (which isnt bad on a 4 year contract worth 4.6m)
he's been scratched the first 2 games , if he reaches 5 scratches before game 10 he'll be bought out .
this way MB gets to save face by saying it was a mistake and he fixed it

I don’t think that’s a bad trade at all. I think Ryan needs a change of scenery. He was really good in the playoffs 2017. I think he could still be a 50 point guy if he can stay healthy

This is a terrible deal for Ottawa. Bobby has the biggest contract, but he's far and away the best player. This isn't even that much in savings for Ottawa. They pay more money for the entirety of the Alzner contract, and only save money in the final year Ryan and Shaw's contract.

Also with the Sens publically stating they are trying to build a more positive locker room culture, so I can't see them adding a notorious piece of human garbage like Andrew Shaw.
