Description

If by the playoffs this was the lineup I think we'd be well off. Kapanen staying on the top line with Nylander provides added speed to the line, and if Kappy can add a bit of "Hyman" to his game Babs would probably want him to stay with Matthews.

Nash signing and playing on the third would make that line very dangerous with Marleau/Kadri who already have chemistry. Heck of a shutdown line.

Dermott has just continued to show he is a top 3 defenseman on this team and should be deployed as so. Hainsey has continued to prove he is a bottom 2 defenseman on this team and should be deployed as so.

I think everything works and fits nicely. Would be a scary team to face in a 7 game series.

I don’t think you realize what a “hot” team is. To make it easier for you, I’m talking about a team that’s heading into the playoffs and playing great defensively and goaltending and strung together big win streaks. Stop being dumb

Once again I'm talking about heading into the playoffs. Why would it matter if a team is hot right now? Plus Washington is 2-2-1, so they're not hot. Stop talking you're making yourself look dumber with every post

I don't see a mention of ONLY "heading" into the playoffs on your first comment. Since we are at the start of the season and by your account, right now the leafs can't play a hot team heading into the playoffs, then its stupid to say that they will lose because of poor defensive play for that same reason.

Don't let your foolish hate make you dumber than you already are. I know the pens are good, other teams are allowed to be good too. Maybe you aren't a real fan, otherwise you wouldn't have made a comment about not being able to win without a defense, pens have done it since they drafted Crosby.

Any team facing a hot goalie is going to lose, playoffs or not. The pens have always been lucky to have a hot goalie at playoff time. Their D is worse than the leafs, they just just consistently played team defense better. Since you first comment, the leafs have improved significantly in their own end.
