Description

First off I don't think the jets should trade Laine, but hypothetically if he prices himself out of Winnipeg this is what I think:
Note: the Jets gave Ottawa permission to speak with Laine prior to the deal and he signed.
I'm using the Lindros to Philly trade as a template (adjusting for inflation).

If i'm Chevy i'm driving the brinks truck to Laine's home. He'll eventually get something around 8 x 10 in the near future.

That’s a stretch. But he’s certainly A franchise player and Winnipeg will not even consider moving him any time soon

I use to agree with you. But he can score at least 30 goals even playing for Sens. He's Ovechkin type and he can reach the same level of him.

He is a franchise player but the jets will be up against in next season and a decision will need to be made. Like I said in the intro, I don't think or want them to move him, but this is an experiment in "what if?" it's fun to see the reaction of people. the quote of "Winnipeg will not even consider moving him any time soon" doesn't apply here cause he'd be an RFA, then did everything to keep him outside of giving him McDavid money so they move on.
What would be the package? Chabot, Tkachuk are former first rounders; Formenton is a 2nd rounder, JGP is a solid NHLer. plus 2 2nd rounder, 1 st rounder and they take Kulikov off the jets hands
