Trade for Josh Anderson

Team: 2018-19 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 13, 2018
Published: Oct. 13, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Seems Anderson isn't very happy in Columbus. Bruins need some size on the wing. Sweeney has stated he didn't like not having a 1st round pick this past draft so I don't think that has a chance of moving. Donato hasn't looked great and doesn't need to pass through waivers so he is sent down. Not sure on the Blue Jackets needs but a skill wing looks like a fit.

Dude he’s a 30 point winger.

Don’t mind picking up Anderson, but he’s not too six

I really dont get why so many B's fans want this Anderson kid. The kid is a 30pt winger and IIRC he was a pain in the ass to sign after 1 ok season.

He has some size, can skate and likes to shoot. All things I see are need on the wing in the middle six. Boston doesn't really have much outside of Backes (regardless of what many think of his value) who is currently 3C and don't really have any coming up outside of Senyshyn and they play much differently.

Seems many guys like Anderson (Ritchie for example) are looking to get paid more because not everything they do shows up on the game sheet. Size doesn't show up on the game sheet but sure makes a difference playing against it. These guys tend to wear out faster because of the game they play, so I don't really blame them. Look at what Wilson just got.

I agree his not necessarily a top 6. But I don't think Wilson is a top line player either, yet there he is. It's balance and depth, being hard to play against. Boston already has one of the best top lines. If they could get lines 2&3 going the would be scary.

I've surprisingly actually liked what Nordstrom has done on the 2nd line in his short stint so I'm open for varying talents if it makes things click. I imagine Anderson could be a Wilson lite in the right situation.

He would be an interesting addition. Who sits for him? Bjork, heinen, donato, or Nordström. Add Anderson and two of those guys sit every night. No thanks

I'd send Donato to Providence. Injuries will happen, he won't be there long. Rotate the four 4th line guys to keep them fresh.

HNIC was reporting he was unhappy in Columbus. He is currently playing on the 4th line. I wouldn't say he's on the block like Duchene was, but might be available for the right price.

So what is he worth in your world? Don't just criticize, enlighten us. You seem confident in your assessment yet you've provided nothing to the conversation.

I can see the ask for Donato but what is the reason to include Hannikainen?

Nothing to the conversation?
Do you know who these players are?
You want to trade for a guy who has been in the starting line up for CBJ for 3 years and return them some fringe AHL scrap player and I provide nothing to the conversation.

Guys. Stop responding to that pillow ******. This kid thinks he’s a future GM when he’s going to be asking people over and over what they want for lunch when he’s working drive thru at his local McDonald’s. He’s a troll and it’s hilarious reading his comments like he knows all.

The only thing Pharrow is an expert in is putting his dick between his bed mattresses and firing off a load.

I actually started the conversation, so yes I am contributing. You? You have criticized and only responded with more questions and ignored a direct question when asked. So I'll give you then benefit of the doubt and ask again. What do you think Josh Anderson is worth to the Columbus Blue Jackets from the pool of players and picks of the Boston Bruins? This is your chance to prove you're not a troll or at least suspend that shtick for once. Entirely your choice.

You're wrong here.
Cehlarik is a good prospect and Anderson has been a below average player. I don't think the jackets want the world for him.
