All of these trades are heavily in LA's favor and it's hard to see any of them happening.

Is Vilardi playing games yet? That kid Wagner looks fast as hell. You don't want him in the line up? I think the media is making a bigger stink out of the LAK situation than actually exists.

These trades are ridiculous. They are the equivalant of Boston offering Backes. Nordstrom, Kuraly for Kopitar. So lopsided.

The other teams are not stupid.....Except for Edmonton.

I sense your frustration but every team goes through a bad patch in this modern era. The days when a team could go 16-2-2 are over.

Multi-player trades are VERY difficult to construct. I think most of those in this post are slanted towards the Kings, but one of them has an interesting kernel: Carter for Necas. Carter certainly fills a need (a glaring, desperate need) for Carolina and would help them win NOW, which Necas won't for at least two years. Does Carolina want to try to build a winning tradition so that it continues to be a destination for high-end free agents and also puts rear ends in seats? I wonder what other people think -- discounting the habitual "every one of our players is worth more than any one of yours" Carolina extremists' response.

Vilardi still on IR sadly, and will likely make his way down to Kingston after he's healed frown I think we're still reeling from that sweep by Vegas, and everything will work out alright once we find that groove again.

I've never heard of any of the guys you are trading for except Horvat. Trading Phaneuf is a mistake, he's one of the few players that's playing good every night. I knew he'd do good in LA. You are making too many changes in my opinion. The biggest change and one of the few they need is firing the Head Coach and hiring one who knows what they're doing and has had success. Lewis, Pearson, Clifford, Forbort, and Campbell need to be traded away. Pearson, Lewis, and Clifford are turning into duds and are playing like crap and creating too many turn overs and nothing plays. Forbort and Campbell are sometimes decent then go straight to bad. They're too inconsistent and there's no room in the NHL for inconsistency especially if you want a successful team. We need to make a move for a top 6 winger that can score. Kovi isn't enough.
