I have to admit most deals in which Nylander is traded are way in Toronto's favor, well not this one. This one is bad for the Leafa. Umm no

Soooo... nylander for a 1st round pick.... even if it’s not top 10 protected we say no. We do not need bad contracts magic beans and another player for the marlies.

It's got potential if Bogosian stays healthy.

Guhle and a 1st for value. Bogo as a rental, or sortof as a Bogo.

Leafs would like the trade better of Bogosian wasn't included. Leafs would get more in a offer sheet, so no deal

II think we are going to see a different Bogosian this year. If he can play for the entire season as he has for the 1st few games, the Leafs may offer Nylander straight up (see Larsson for Hall for example) because the Leafs are not having a problem scoring goals just cannot stop them. I know that this is a small sample size but you do realize that he leads the team with 15 blocked shots, 2nd with 2.3 hits/gm, first +/- among the defensemen, tied for 1st among all defensemen with one goal. We have not seen the best of this man since he came to Buffalo, let's see how a healthy Bogosian can perform.

Don't know why you think the Leafs have problem stopping goals. Last three games. Beat Washington in Washington,. 2 goals allowed, lost to Pittsburg...one goal allowed...(plus two empty netters). St Louis for goals against. These is getting to. be nonsense about the Leafs not being able to stop goals, and certainly in the last two games...having no problems scoring goals.

Thank you for your comment, I guess my eyes are deceiving me, but as I look at goals against, only 3 teams have allowed more goals against than the Leafs.

I think it would more relevant if GAA was deciding factor since the Leafs have played nine games, the most in the league some teams have played six. Leafs are 11th worse in GAA. Not good enough long term but geez the season is young. Last year despite the rumours on CapFriendly the Leafs weren't horrid in allowing goals either. 12th in GAA. Cup winning Caps 16th.

OK you win, 12th worse last year and 11th worse this year is a clear indication that the defense is solid. Thank you for making it so clear to me.

No 12th best last year. Better than Washington, better than Tampa. So if the criteria for success is GAA, the Leafs should allow more goals. As I said, it's kinda non factual that the Leafs defence is so horrid.
