Did I stutter? He's really not that good. EDM fans act like he can carry his own line when he can't. He's overrated in EDM like Nylander is in TOR. Drafted C's converted to wingers because they need help producing.

Yeah, these guys are lost. Draisaitl turned 23 today and is on pace for a 41-goal, 82-point season - following 77 and 70 point seasons as a 21- and 22-year-old respectively. He has struggled somewhat to start this season, but is still producing at PB levels. He's a beast of a player.

Good luck prying him out of Edmonton for that locker-room cancer.

The way he dominated the game last night makes me hesitant to even propose this trade, but I do think it is fair.

As for the "trivial" on-pace argument, I only posted that because people think Draisaitl is playing poorly right now. Context is a thing... besides, I posted his past 2 years points totals to show that the early season production is sustainable, not a "trivial" flash-in-the-pan number.
