Nino is a good corsi/possession player, but he's really not that good of a defender. He's one of the few Wild FWDs that doesn't play on the PK at all. He's also not on the ice for many late game other team has an EN situations.

I guess that's more what I meant anyways, as Mitch and Tavares struggle with that a tad (ie: Corsi - not bad, could be better) but I'm actually surprised at that truthfully, I know he's not a world beater but stat wise he looks pretty good.

I know the season is a rollercoaster

It just sucks right now

All I can say is that 2019 needs to end up being a lot better than the first half of this season.

Also, everyone in the media that pretended to be an insiderr by guessing Nylander would sign within 48 hours needs to shut up for the rest of the season

Being a great possession player is the best way to be a good defensive player. Being able to control the puck in the offensive zone is save way more goals against than blocking shots.
