I'd accept this if I'm the Rangers, I'd rather have Gourde as a top 6 winger as we transition from rebuilder to contender, Gourde can essentially replace Zuccarello too since he'll probably get dealt

If Hayes was to sign an extension with Tampa they would have to add more. But I'm assuming that Tampa is getting Hayes as a rental. NYR could get Hayes back in the offseason. This is more than likely a TDL deal.

Not bad

If i were the rangers i would focus on someone younger than gourde though.
Cal Foote + Callahan for Hayes and Beleskey would get it done-- more beneficial for the rangers and doesn't hurt tampas chance to win cup this year as much as losing gourde would (it would have more long term effects though)
