Carolina paid a second rounder to get TvR from Vegas, I don’t see this as an upgrade, we don’t need wing depth. Unless your willing to part with someone like Kadri for a RD man I don’t see this working

I’m sorry but you must be high if you think you are getting 4 years of a 30 goal centre for 2 years of TVR... if you would have made a reasonable suggestion for your team needs I would move someone different. I think johnsson is a good young player with a goal scoring touch. I really don’t want to give up on him. I think by the time TVR’s term is up you will have a 40-50 point winger.

Okay that makes more sense but you can tell by the agm the only D man i’m Targeting is tvr. Already made a trade for manson, tvr would be a good interim hold down the fort guy. With 4 rhd and plenty of defensive depth figured this would be a good move. Won’t be moving any top 6 forwards. I didn’t think Carolina would be in any sort of position to look for futures. That’s why I’m offering up johnsson, good future and nhl ready now. If there is someone else that fits your team a bit better I’m all ears.

Kadri will not be moved from Toronto, I know there have been some rumours but that is all they are.

I like Zaitsev, I think adding a D man while subtracting him is lateral move.

Carolina needs a goaltender. Outside of that there are no holes in the team, so even Johnsson is a stretch. Canes down the wings are incredibly strong, down the middle has proved solid this season. The D core is top 5 in the NHL, I'd argue only behind Nashville and maybe San Jose. Why is there any reason for Carolina to subtract from a strength without fixing a weakness? You want a D man, fine, but you need to fill the needs of Carolina too
