If you are the better goalie, why do you have to pass the reigns?

If they had just let Rinne walk they would've had so much extra cap space for Cup runs while Sarros was on his cheap deal

signing him to that NMC is interesting. If I were Nashville, Id have paid more $ to keep that off for the expansion draft. Guess the savings of some cash over that of having to compensate was worth more to the preds.

Rinne was 29 when he got his long term deal. That's a much better comparison.
